Crossings at High Line Canal is rich with recreational options for fun and fitness, including golf, tennis and excellent workout facilities to maintain fitness and health.
But perhaps the best fitness option of all is right out your door – and it’s free. It’s the High Line Canal Trail. Hop on it and you can travel from one end of Denver to the other, hiking, biking, jogging or horseback riding – maybe with a picnic along the way.
The Trail measures 71 miles from start to finish. A wide, meandering path that follows the Canal from Waterton Canyon to Green Valley Ranch near Denver International Airport, it’s enticing year-round to savor the seasons.
However, for those rare soggy-weather days, just five minutes from the neighborhood is one of the best fitness facilities in the country, Greenwood Athletic Club and Tennis. Everything you could ever want in a fitness experience is offered here.
There’s also a Pure Barre at Landmark, a 24-Hour Fitness and other fitness options nearby.
Golf anyone? Glenmoor, a private country club, is literally across the street from Crossings at High Line Canal. While there’s a two-and-a-half year wait for full Golf membership, Social Awaiting Membership is typically available within four to six months.
Prestigious Cherry Hills Country Club is close by, as well; however, membership is by invitation only.
Public courses in close proximity include Wellshire and South Suburban.
Also easily accessible is every Rocky Mountain adventure imaginable. It’s just 30 minutes to the Foothills and Red Rocks, plus another 30-60 minutes to ski areas.
The natural beauty of this unique canal-side community in Greenwood Village was thoughtfully weighed in the planning stages. Though it’s just minutes from the heart of a world-class city, Crossings at High Line Canal represents the best of living in harmony with nature.
